Every 4-5 years, American Jews have an opportunity to vote their values by participating in the U.S. election for the World Zionist Congress (WZC).
The WZC includes 152 delegates from the United States. Together with delegates from Israel and other countries, the Congress helps shape the Jewish world by setting policies and influencing more than $1 billion in funding that’s used to support education, social programs, and land development in Israel. Those funds are also used to support Jewish communities around the world.
Jewish American voters can choose from more than 20 different delegate slates, each representing a set of political, religious, or cultural traditions. NIF will not be endorsing a slate in this year’s election, but we are proud to see allies and partners included as delegates on the VOTE REFORM, HATIKVAH, and MERCAZ USA slates.
To vote, you must meet the eligibility requirements, register to vote, and pay a $5 registration fee. Learn more and cast your vote now.
Voting ends May 4. Plenty more information is available on the American Zionist Movement’s website, which hosts the elections.
