Following President Trump’s proposal to forcibly transfer millions of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, 12 Israeli human rights groups released a joint statement in opposition

Signees included NIF core grantees The Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI), Breaking the Silence, Bimkom: Planners for Planning Rights, Physicians for Human Rights Israel (PHRI), Yesh Din – Volunteers for Human Rights, and Zazim – Community Action.

“Forcible population transfer and ethnic cleansing are crimes against humanity,” the organizations wrote. “The human rights of the people in Gaza are not determined in the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office nor in the White House. We will stand up for the right of Palestinians to live in their homeland in safety, freedom, and dignity.”
